Raytheon UK is hiring for a Test Engineering Lead to design, verify and support board-level and system-level test hardware and software. You will lead design reviews, work with hardware and software engineers, and ensure robust test solutions through the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes documentation, collaboration, and timely problem solving with a focus on reliability and compliance while supporting manufacturing and obsolescence management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field is essential.
• Experience in test software design and hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to produce clear technical design documentation.
• Proven handover of designs into production and defect resolution.
• Strong communication and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, manufacture, verify and support test equipment at board/sub-system level.
• Lead the test equipment design reviews and ensure design standards.
• Develop hardware, test software and procedures for validation.
• Collaborate with hardware/software engineers on interfaces and protocols.
• Provide manufacturing support and manage obsolescence across lifecycles.
• Monitor progress and ensure safety compliance and policy adherence.
