Job summary

Kier Group plc, through its Kier Design team, is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Engineer to lead delivery of construction engineering services on a broad range of projects across the UK.

You'll mentor colleagues, shape technical standards, oversee temporary works design and checking, and ensure compliance with CDM and Kier's quality system. Flexible hours and hybrid working from multiple UK locations.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead temporary works design and checking, integrated with permanent works design as applicable.
• Provide tender and bid support including outline design schemes, feasibility studies and value engineering solutions.
• Managing technical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and Kier's Quality Management System.
• Developing positive relationships with clients and design teams, representing Kier at project meetings; mentoring staff within Kier Design.
