Job summary

Kier is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Engineer to join our team across the UK. You will lead delivery of temporary works design and checking, review permanent designs for buildability, and support tenders and preconstruction planning.

You should have experience in temporary works and strong organisational/communication skills, with an IEng/CEng track or progress toward chartered status. Hybrid UK-wide roles offered with up to 1-2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• IEng or CEng with equivalent experience is required.
• Experience in temporary works design and/or management is essential.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of construction engineering services including temporary works design and checking.
• Review permanent designs for compliance and buildability; support tenders and preconstruction planning.
• Provide technical support to address construction-stage and post-construction issues.
