Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Engineer to join our civil, structural and geotechnical teams across multiple UK locations. The role offers hybrid working with up to 1-2 days from home and a starting salary around £50k per year.

You will lead temporary works design and checking, support tenders and projects, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure buildability, safety and compliance on complex schemes across the built environment.

Qualifications

• Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with equivalent experience.
• Experience in temporary works design and/or management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills and ability to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading delivery of temporary works design and checking across projects.
• Reviewing permanent designs for compliance and buildability.
• Supporting tenders and preconstruction planning.
• Providing technical support to construction-stage and post-construction issues.
