Job summary

Vospers Group is seeking a Parts Telesales Advisor to join our busy multi-franchised parts department at Matford Way, Exeter. You will handle inbound calls, advise customers on parts availability and pricing, and respond to emails from a shared mailbox.

The role requires a basic level of computer literacy, and any experience with CDK Drive Kerridge is a plus. Typical hours are 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday rota’d. A great place to develop in a long-established local business.

Qualifications

• Motor trade parts experience is advantageous but not required.
• A-levels demonstrate basic educational attainment.
• Experience with the CDK Drive (Kerridge) system is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls in a call centre.
• Lookup parts across Electronic Parts Catalogues and advise trade and retail customers on pricing and availability.
• Reply to customer emails from a shared inbox in a professional manner.
• Promote current promotions to existing customers calling in.
• Record customer concerns and report to the Parts Manager.
• Log lost sales in the database.

The Role

As a Parts Telesales Advisor, you'll be operating within a busy multi-franchised parts department at Vospers, Matford Way in Exeter.

Key Responsibilities of a Parts Telesales Advisor

• Answering incoming phone calls within our call centre.
• Looking up parts on a number of Electronic Parts Catalogues and advising our trade and retail customers, pricing and availability.
• Take emails from a shared email box and respond to the customer enquires in a professional manner.
• Offer existing customers who call in at least one product from any of our promotions.
• Record any customers concerns and report to the Parts Manager.
• Record any lost sales on database.

Experience & Qualifications

• Motor trade parts experience advantageous but not essential.
• A level of computer literacy.
• Previous experience using the CDK Drive (Kerridge) system advantageous.

Hours of Work

An average of 42.5 hours a week.
