Job description

Senior Technology Support Analyst - London

Purpose of role: Reporting to the Head of IT, the Senior Technology Support Analyst will provide technical support to all staff at London & Partners, including international offices. This role involves business-as-usual laptop/user support for 1st and 2nd line issues and requests, specializing in cloud systems, security, automation, licensing, and virtual networks. A proactive approach to support and user engagement is essential.

Key Tasks:

  1. Collaborate with third-party providers to ensure maintenance and uptime of core systems.
  2. Maintain strong awareness of Cyber Security and ensure daily adherence to best practices.
  3. Perform daily system monitoring, verify hardware and server resource integrity, review logs, and verify backup jobs.
  4. Manage user accounts and recover from hardware/software failures.
  5. Configure services and perform performance reporting for capacity planning.
  6. Manage virtual machines and support Microsoft 365 and Azure resources.
  7. Operate security control tools to ensure robust cyber security.
  8. Support Windows 11, Windows 365, and Windows Server environments.
  9. Provide guidance for DevOps administrative support.
  10. Deliver IT support per SLAs, oversee installation of new virtual assets, and maintain asset records.
  11. Establish relationships with key suppliers and assist with project planning and implementation.
  12. Ensure software is up-to-date, support remote and overseas offices, and mentor work experience students or apprentices.
  13. Review estate for improvements and collaborate on enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive first and second-line support experience.
  • Certifications/experience in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Adobe Suite, MS Entra, MS Intune, Security controls, Power Apps/Automation, Cloud hosting, Networks.
  • Desirable: Mac OS X, Linux (Red Hat/CentOS), PostgreSQL, XDR, PowerShell scripting, Purview.

Competencies: Troubleshooting, communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, customer service orientation, flexibility, and a can-do attitude.
