Senior Application Support Analyst

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative, agile team responsible for developing and maintaining Primary Markets applications within LSEG's Capital Markets division.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Joining our Primary Markets Application Services team as a Lead DevOps Engineer.
• Maintaining systems on AWS, ensuring availability and resiliency through DevOps practices.
• Supporting a development team and promoting DevOps culture via the pillars of DevOps.
• Handling CI/CD, deployment automation, security, system design for resilience and scalability, operational automation, and monitoring.
• Owning DevOps responsibilities for your team.
• Providing Level 2 systems support.
• Advising and guiding a small team of DevOps engineers.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Understanding of git, CI/CD, release and branching strategies, and pipelines.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience working in Unix and Windows environments.
• Ability to guide deployment practices and automate deployments.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines independently.
• Experience mentoring junior DevOps team members.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience with modern tooling like Ansible, Terraform, DataDog, Jenkins, GitLab, ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, Nexus, Artifactory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
• Networking diagnostic experience.
• AWS Developer/Sysops/DevOps certification.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
