- Salary: £45,658 per annum

What You'll Be DoingAs the Senior Technical Supervisor you will have line management responsibility of a team of engineers, where you’ll be required to ensure that all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are completed to the required Service Level. You will also be required to provide first line response to all planned maintenance tasks and emergencies during normal working hours and out of hours when on call.
Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise the team being their daily point of contact, providing management support, guidance, training, and development to colleagues to achieve a consistent and high level of customer service
- Providing technical support and training to engineering staff
- Manage the delivery of the PPM schedule and attendance pattern ensuring optimum engineer coverage at all times
- To notify the planning team of procedural task condition on cessation of works & ensure jobs are correctly closed on completion
- Coordinate reactive activities and scheduling to ensure teams work efficiently and productively towards achieving all targets (productivity, asset uptime & first-time fix etc)
- Work proactively to manage task volumes in conjunction with the planning team, ensuring that colleagues update reporting systems in an accurate and timely way
- Controlling labour utilisation on a day-to-day basis including management of an “on-call” rota
- Responsible for effective engineer utilisation by the arrangement of weekly shift patterns/overtime requirements completion of return to work forms, managing conduct of colleagues, management of colleague training, completion of regular performance reviews, and managing performance on a daily basis
- To manage and make safe all Health & Safety related issues in the area for which you are responsible and ensure engineers report and escalate as necessary and incidents.
What We're Looking ForTo be successful, you will have:
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Be able to demonstrate experience of M&E services maintenance
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience in a trade (desirable)
- Full clean driving licence
