Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all personnel under your supervision, including direct staff, operatives, and supply chain partners. You will maintain the highest standards of quality and safety, leading by example and ensuring all operational activities align with company policies, strategic objectives, and relevant industry regulations.

The Role

  • Ensure programmes are delivered to key milestones across the contract.
  • Provide design guidance to other teams.
  • Monitor delivery to ensure work is carried out in accordance with business policies and procedures.
  • Self-manage priorities and workload across the Borough.
  • Produce daily site supervision reports.

About You

  • Proven experience in budgeting, change management, and the delivery of major and minor civil engineering projects, including resurfacing and highway works.
  • Background in highway engineering, with expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of works, including statutory processes such as NRSWA.
  • Knowledge of construction materials used in highways and relevant standards, including MCHW and DMRB.
  • Understanding of health and safety legislation, including CDM regulations and industry codes of practice.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts and legal frameworks such as the Land Drainage Act.
