Description

The Technical Supervisor will provide support to Team Leaders. They will work with the Team Leaders to drive processes and policies to embed best practices into file handling. Additionally, they will support the technical progression of litigation handlers and help achieve technical excellence within the litigated unit, aligned with client SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on MOJ, Small claims up to £10k, in a technical forum for fee earners.
• Supervise 4-5 team members, maintaining accurate development records.
• Assist with technical supervision and peer reviews of small claim files.
• Complete Pre Trial reviews 10 weeks prior to trial/disposal, providing face-to-face feedback.
• Identify training needs and communicate with relevant leaders.
• Develop new starters to achieve financial authority within 6 months.
• Handle a small caseload of fast-track files.

Working Hours

35 hours/week, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, with 1 unpaid lunch hour. Hybrid role with 1 day in the office weekly. Travel required between Liverpool and Leeds offices for face-to-face support.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Competent in motor RTA litigation, small claims, MOJ files, handling fast track cases.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring fee earners.
• Knowledge of recent Court process changes, OICP, DCP, SRA, ISO guidelines.
• Excellent communication, planning, and client care skills.
• Proactive, confident, and able to work within the Keoghs Shared Behaviour framework.
