Job summary

MAN in Leicester is seeking a Senior Technical Service Advisor to join our team on a full‑time permanent basis. You will proactively manage workshop capacity and bookings, and maintain accurate vehicle histories and service records.

You will liaise with customers, interpret instructions, and support the service administration team while upholding health and safety standards. A strong technical background in commercial vehicles and excellent communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Proactively plan the capacity of the workshop.
• Canvass for and accept bookings for the workshop to fill capacity.
• Maintain vehicle history and service records accurately and promptly.
• Maintain invoice filing accurately and promptly.
• Interpret customer or internal instructions and complete job cards/repair orders.
• Attend training as required by the Regional Service Manager.
• Provide information and maintain records; carry out duties accurately and timely.
• Deputise in service department as directed by the Regional Service Manager.
• Monitor work to ensure timely completion and communicate delays or extra work needed.
