Job summary

Winsearch is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Representative for ground support & propping with Reading HQ and surrounding areas. You will develop new business and manage strategic accounts in construction and infrastructure, interpreting engineering drawings and delivering technical solutions.

You will present quotations, tenders and proposals, drive a field sales pipeline across Kent, East Anglia, East London and Essex, and be the primary commercial contact on major projects.

Qualifications

• Proven technical sales experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Experience developing new business while managing key customer relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience producing quotations and tenders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience using CRM systems for pipeline and account management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new business opportunities across ground support and propping solutions.
• Build, maintain and grow strategic key account relationships across the Southern region.
• Identify, track and convert major project opportunities from enquiry through to delivery.
• Act as the primary commercial and technical contact for large and complex projects.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions and technical presentations.
• Provide expert advice on temporary works, shoring and propping applications.
• Work closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
• Monitor project progress, coordinate stakeholders and proactively resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate opportunity and account data within the CRM system.
• Represent the business at client meetings, industry events and site visits throughout the region.
