Job summary

Winsearch is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Representative to cover Reading HQ and surrounding areas. You will develop and secure new business opportunities in ground support and propping solutions while managing key accounts across the Southern region.

You will read engineering drawings, prepare quotations and tenders, and act as the main commercial and technical contact on large projects. A full UK driving licence and CRM experience are essential; a strong civil engineering network is

Qualifications

• Proven technical sales experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or related sectors is essential - the selling experience > the industry.
• Experience developing new business whilst managing key customer relationships is essential
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is desirable
• Strong commercial awareness with experience producing quotations, proposals and tenders - essential
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills - essential
• Full UK driving licence - essential
• Experience using CRM systems for pipeline and account management

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new business opportunities across ground support and propping solutions
• Build, maintain and grow strategic key account relationships across the Southern region
• Identify, track and convert major project opportunities from enquiry through to delivery
• Act as the primary commercial and technical contact for large and complex projects
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions and technical presentations
• Provide expert advice on temporary works, shoring and propping applications
• Work closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully
• Monitor project progress, coordinate stakeholders and proactively resolve issues
• Maintain accurate opportunity and account data within the CRM system
• Represent the business at client meetings, industry events and site visits throughout the region
• This is a field-based position covering Kent, East Anglia, East London, Essex and all surrounding areas
