Job summary

Hi-Tech Property Services Ltd is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to lead and optimise maintenance operations across a portfolio of sites in the UK leisure sector. You will manage diverse teams including Service Delivery, Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric Managers, and ensure delivery within quality, safety and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience managing reactive maintenance, technical services or building-services operations, with direct labour and subcontractors.
• Practical understanding of M&E and fabric maintenance, service levels, statutory compliance and safe working.
• Experience leading operational managers and multi-trade teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong organisational skills and confidence reviewing job performance, costs, margins and invoicing information.
• Clear communication with clients, engineers, managers and support departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, influence, and guide your team to deliver reactive and planned maintenance works across a remote and varied portfolio of sites within the leisure industry.
• Motivate and inspire your team in line with company values, with P&L visibility and accountability for key performance metrics.
• Oversee planning, allocation, progress and close-out of approximately 1,500 maintenance and small works jobs per month across electrical, fabric, mechanical and subcontracted works.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, subcontractors and internal departments, escalating issues and providing clear operational reporting.
• Be an advocate for safety, professionalism and compliance with company policies and procedures.
