Job summary

Fire Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to own the maintenance operation across its hospitality properties in Southampton and surrounding areas. You will develop and implement planned preventative maintenance programmes, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

This senior role requires hands-on leadership, strong planning, and a proactive approach. You will manage budgets, contractors and certification processes, with travel between sites and a valid UK driving

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager/Facilities Manager role.
• Experience in hospitality, hotels or multi-property environments.
• Strong knowledge of building services and statutory compliance.
• Experience developing or managing planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Good knowledge of health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for maintenance across a multi-site portfolio.
• Develop and implement effective PPM systems and schedules.
• Establish structured asset management, servicing and records.
• Ensure statutory testing and certifications are completed on time.
• Carry out regular site inspections to identify priorities and risks.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure value for money.
• Manage budgets, purchasing and expenditure.
• Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Support refurbishment and capital expenditure projects.
• Produce maintenance and KPI reports for senior management.
