Job summary

Henley Chase is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across a portfolio of properties in Birmingham. The role combines leadership with hands-on maintenance duties, managing a small team, planned and reactive works, budgets, and compliance with Health & Safety.

You will also carry out general maintenance at offices and supported accommodation as needed, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure documentation and reporting are up to date.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant maintenance qualifications.
• Experience in managing budgets and Health & Safety compliance is essential.
• Practical, hands-on approach and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance function across sites.
• Plan, organise and allocate work for the maintenance team.
• Ensure planned and reactive maintenance is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Develop and maintain planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Manage and monitor maintenance budgets and costs.
• Source materials, equipment and contractors as required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting.
