Job summary

Thames Water is seeking aSenior Technical Coordinator to join the Smart Metering Operations Centre (SMOC) team. You will combine data analysis, technical coordination, and stakeholder engagement to turn insight into action and support the Technical Lead in delivering initiatives that improve operational performance.

You will triage technical tickets, identify opportunities, and help implement new technologies while maintaining clear reporting and meeting SLAs.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Proactive, organized and able to take ownership.
• Experience creating, maintaining and interpreting reports.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the SMOC Technical Lead with day-to-day activities to improve operational performance.
• Use data, systems and tools to identify trends, challenges and opportunities.
• Support the wider SMOC team through change and new technologies.
• Triages inbound technical tickets and ensure faults are progressed within SLAs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, sharing findings and updates.
• Deliver reporting to support decision-making and performance.
