Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator to join our Smart Metering Operations Centre (SMOC) in Langley. You’ll combine data analysis, technical coordination and stakeholder engagement to identify opportunities and deliver initiatives that improve operational performance.

This hybrid role supports the Technical Lead, develops reporting, and collaborates across teams to drive value and ensure timely delivery of multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Experience using data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities.
• Ability to create, maintain and interpret reports.
• Project management experience and ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the SMOC Technical Lead with day-to-day activities to improve operational performance.
• Using data, systems and tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting the wider SMOC team through change and new technologies.
• Triaging inbound technical tickets and ensuring faults progress within SLAs.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and sharing findings and progress.
• Managing multiple initiatives and ensuring timely delivery.
• Creating clear, accurate reporting to support decisions.
