Job summary

Ser- is recruiting a Technical Consultant in Horsham to join an established IT services business. The role blends hands-on delivery with customer-facing consultancy, spanning design, presales, and project delivery across infra, cloud and networking.

You will own projects from initial design to completion, provide guidance to the Service Desk, and help shape client solutions within an MSP setting. Salary up to £50,000 with commission possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in MSP environments delivering IT infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure, with networking and security basics.
• Proven ability to design, sc ope and deliver technical solutions for clients and support presales.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and design appropriate technical solutions.
• Support presales activities, including discovery, scoping and client presentations.
• Lead projects from planning through implementation and handover.
• Deliver infrastructure, cloud, Microsoft 365 and networking projects.
• Act as escalation point for the Service Desk and guide complex issues.
• Produce project documentation and solution designs to a high standard.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Project and Account teams to achieve client outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve client infrastructure and security.
