Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to define and deliver a range of projects with a strong link to the customer’s core business. You will perform root cause analysis, translate needs into requirements, and collaborate with development teams to design technical solutions.

Key duties include producing BRDs, data mapping, and stakeholder management across all levels, with UAT support and end-to-end project involvement. Flexible/remote working is available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in consultancy or public sector.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents and process maps.
• Agile delivery experience within an Agile delivery team.
• Experience reviewing Functional Specification Documents for alignment with Business Requirements.
• Experience defining and designing business solutions on large and small projects.
• Strong SQL background for data capability.
• Clear, proactive communicator with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis and translate user needs into solution designs and specs.
• Collaborate with development teams to design technical solutions.
• Produce analysis, data mapping and data analytics using SQL, Excel and Power BI.
• Create detailed Business Requirements Specification Documents.
• Manage stakeholders from c‑suite to developers, internally and with clients.
• Support UAT by preparing test scenarios and coordinating validation using tools like Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Lead workshops and oversee end‑to‑end project delivery.
