Job summary

Halfords is seeking an inspiring Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our high-volume recruitment operation across Retail and Garaging. You will steer a team of TA leaders, set strategy, and partner with operations to deliver fast, fair and engaging hiring journeys.

You’ll champion data-driven decisions, optimise channels, and push for innovative tech like AI to improve speed, quality and candidate experience. Hybrid working in Redditch is offered with clear KPI ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-volume Talent Acquisition teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on data, metrics and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of UK employment law, right-to-work and compliant processes.
• Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding.

Responsibilities

• Lead three Talent Acquisition Team Leaders to deliver volume recruitment.
• Define objectives, KPIs and SLAs; drive performance through coaching.
• Own end-to-end candidate journey and fair, robust decision making.
• Build talent pipelines and strategic sourcing for high-volume roles.
• Drive adoption of AI, automation and emerging recruitment tech.
