Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to shape Through-Life Services for the UK's next-generation combat aircraft. You will work in a highly integrated team, guiding stakeholder engagement and developing advanced support concepts that underpin front-line operations for decades.

Qualifications

• Experience capturing and analysing stakeholder needs to guide service solution development.
• Experience applying MBSE to develop system architectures from stakeholder requirements.
• Experience generating Use Cases and conducting Functional Analysis to refine requirements.
• Experience managing requirements and maintaining traceability throughout the lifecycle.
• Strong ability to balance competing needs using structured methods like trade studies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage stakeholders for the Through-Life Services element and help develop engagement and communication strategies.
• Elicit, analyse and prioritise stakeholder needs to define optimal capability solutions.
• Contribute to concepts and architectures for the Through-Life Support solution with design teams and SMEs.
• Perform system functional analysis, modelling and architecture refinement.
• Apply appropriate tools and techniques for problem definition within the team.
• Define and establish Use Cases to inform Functional Analysis and derive the logical architecture.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align TLS architecture with the wider programme.
• Identify emerging issues, participate in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Produce clear, high-quality reports and presentations for customers and industry partners.
• Build strong relationships and promote best practices across the organisation.
