Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead Through-Life Services on a next‑gen combat aircraft programme. You will shape architectures, engage stakeholders, and drive MBSE methodologies to balance requirements and deliver robust defence capabilities.

You will collaborate across internal teams and with international partners, ensuring timely risk mitigation and clear communications. The role features hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience capturing and analysing stakeholder needs to guide service solutions.
• Experience applying MBSE approaches to develop service and product architectures.
• Experience generating Use Cases and conducting Functional Analysis to support requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage stakeholders for TLS element and support strategy.
• Elicit, analyse and prioritise stakeholder needs to define optimal capability solutions.
• Contribute to concepts and architectures for the TLS solution with SMEs.
• Conduct system functional analysis, modelling and architecture refinement.
• Apply appropriate tools/techniques for problem definition within the team.
• Define Use Cases to inform Functional Analysis and architecture.
• Coordinate with internal/ external stakeholders for TLS alignment.
• Identify risks; contribute to mitigation and opportunity strategies.
• Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for customers and partners.
• Promote best practice across the organization.
