Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop requirements and test plans, manage documentation and changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for Tempest and GCAP. You will coordinate with suppliers, integrators, and users across the UK in a high-performance, defence-focused environment.

The role requires a science-based honours degree and knowledge of MBSE, DOORS, and the systems engineering lifecycle, with five years of UK residency. Hybrid work in the UK is supported.

Qualifications

• A science-based Honours degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience or a desire to gain electronic warfare domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle: requirements engineering (IBM DOORS), architecture, MBSE, verification and validation, integration, modelling and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and test plans.
• Control parts and documentation, including change management.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams on system and sub-system development for Tempest and GCAP.
• Work with suppliers, integrators, and users across the UK.
