Job summary

Leonardo in the UK is seeking a Systems Engineer for a predominantly office- and lab-based role in Luton. You will develop requirements, manage interfaces, and collaborate with multi-functional teams across the UK to deliver high-performance defence systems.

Applicants should hold a science-based honours degree or equivalent, with interest in electronic warfare and a solid grasp of the systems engineering lifecycle, MBSE, and model-based analysis. Five years UK residency required.

Qualifications

• Science-based honours degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience or desire to gain electronic warfare domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle including MBSE and model-based analysis.

Responsibilities

• Development of Requirements and Test Plans.
• Control of Parts and Documentation, including change management.
• Collaboration with multi-functional teams on system and sub-system development.
• Work with suppliers, integrators, and users across the UK.
• Mentoring and coaching other engineers.
