Job summary

Voyage Care in Huntingdon is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our supported living service. You will help people gain independence daily, while assisting the Manager with supervision and ensuring high-quality care in a welcoming team.

The role requires previous Senior Support Worker experience, a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, and the ability to support individuals with autism, brain injury and complex needs. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience as a Senior Support Worker or similar role.
• Experience working with autism, acquired brain injury or complex needs.
• Experience with challenging behaviours and safeguarding

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.
• Allocate shifts, induct new colleagues and administer training.
• Support with supervision and medication ordering as needed.
• Help people gain independence and meet personal goals.
