Job summary

Voyage Care in Langport is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead our residential service, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and complex needs. You will help residents gain independence and assist the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service.

The role requires previous senior experience and a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification, with a focus on safeguarding, training, and team development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification required.
• Experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar senior role.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and complex care needs.

Responsibilities

• Allocate shifts and supervise team members.
• Assist with booking training and inducting new colleagues.
• Support with supervision, medication ordering and finances for those we support.
