Job summary

Your Education Supply Ltd in Leicester is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join a permanent care team. You will provide hands-on care and leadership, guiding colleagues, promoting safe practice and high-quality care delivery.

The role involves managing complex needs and behavioural escalation with a focus on consistent, person-centred support. This is a permanent position with 36 or 48 contracted hours per week and a salary of £15.00 per hour (£28,080–£37,440 per year).

Qualifications

• Previous care experience with complex needs is essential.
• Experience supervising or guiding other care workers is desirable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, DoLS and incident management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support care staff during shifts.
• Ensure care plans, behavioural strategies and risk assessments are followed.
• Promote least restrictive practice and accurate documentation.
