Job summary

Your Education Supply Ltd is recruiting a Senior Support Worker in Leicester (LE4) to join a permanent care team. This role combines hands-on care with leadership responsibilities, offering stable contracted hours and a clear progression path into management.

You will support individuals with complex needs, lead other workers during shifts, promote safe practice, and ensure care plans and risk assessments are followed. A full UK driving licence is preferred and NVQ development is funded.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within care is essential.
• Experience with complex care packages (3:1, 4:1, 5:1) is advantageous.
• Experience with physical intervention or restraint in care settings is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and leadership during shifts.
• Support and guide other Support Workers and ensure safe practice.
• Lead escalation management and ensure care plans are followed.
