Pharmacyupdate in Leicester is seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to lead shifts and support colleagues in complex care scenarios. You will promote safe practice, manage escalation, and contribute to care planning with 3:1/4:1/5:1 packages. This permanent role offers progression toward leadership and management.

Applicants should have senior care experience, safeguarding knowledge, and a commitment to high standards. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Senior position; experience in care essential.
• Experience with complex care packages (3:1, 4:1, 5:1) desirable.
• Experience with safeguarding, DoLS, incident management.
• Previous experience supervising other care workers is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on care and lead shifts.
• Support and guide other staff, promote safe practices.
• Escalate risk changes to senior/clinical teams.
• Maintain care documentation and incidents records.
• Support shadowing and competency development.
