Pharmacyupdate is recruiting a Senior Support Worker in Hull to join a permanent care team. The role combines hands-on care with leadership responsibilities and progression opportunities into management. You will work on complex care packages in a permanent contract, not agency or temporary work.

You will support and guide other Support Workers, promote safe practices, and provide calm leadership during challenging incidents while ensuring care plans and safeguarding procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in care, especially with complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
• Experience supervising or supporting other care workers is highly desirable.
• Experience with 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1 complex care packages is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead shifts and provide calm leadership during behavioural escalations.
• Support colleagues, promote safe and consistent practice, and ensure care plans are followed.
• Participate in safeguarding, risk assessments and incident documentation.
