Linkit Recruitment is seeking experienced SENIOR SUPPORT WORKERS and SUPPORT WORKERS across the Midlands for permanent roles. You will provide safe, person-centred care to individuals with complex needs, following care plans, PBS and safeguarding guidelines.

Successful candidates will work in structured multidisciplinary environments, use de-escalation techniques, record observations accurately and maintain professional boundaries while promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• Experience in enhanced staffing packages (3:1/4:1/5:1) or similar high-acuity services.
• Experience managing behavioural escalation and physical aggression.
• Experience using de-escalation techniques.
• Experience with detailed care plans, risk assessments and behavioural support plans.
• Understanding safeguarding, duty of care, least restrictive practice and professional boundaries.

Responsabilités

• Deliver person-centred support per care plan and PBS plan.
• Work within 3:1, 4:1 and 5:1 staffing during increased risk.
• Recognise triggers and respond proactively.
• Use de-escalation techniques to reduce distress.
• Maintain professional boundaries and record care delivery.
• Ensure effective communication during challenging situations.
• Support with personal care, meals, medication and community access.
