Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Kingly Croft in Hinckley. The service supports adults with brain injury and neurological conditions through rehab and enablement, helping residents gain independence at their own pace.

Role involves direct care, MDT collaboration, accurate records, and running the shift. We offer meaningful development within a supportive clinical and leadership structure and a range of wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Health and Social Care Level 3 is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS clearance will be required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Support residents in achieving planned outcomes and maintain care records.
• Run the shift and contribute to team objectives.
• Build good working relationships with residents, families and professionals.
• Deliver personal care and uphold patient dignity.

We'd like you to join us as a Senior Support worker at our service Kingly Croft in Hinckley.

At Kingly Croft, we work with individuals around rehabilitation and enablement, supporting everyone to develop skills and gain independence in a way that suits them. We're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.

Kingly Croft is a six-bed residential house in Hinckley where adults with an acquired brain injury or neurological condition are supported. Our highly trained team works around rehabilitation and enablement, helping residents to develop skills, gain independence, and achieve personal goals at their own pace and in ways that suit them.

What you'll be working:

Your hours are based on a rota working every other weekend.

• Full time hours
• 24 hours per week

What you'll be doing:

• Provide direct care and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient in achievement of their planned outcomes
• Maintain accurate, legible records of care provided, based upon the care plan
• Be actively involved in meeting own and team objectives through encouraging and supporting others
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with residents, their families, colleagues and any relevant professionals
• Provide Personal care
• Running the shift.

What you'll have:

• A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
• A NVQ in Health and Social care from Level 3 onwards is desirable but not essential as we can provide support with completing this qualification.
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
