Job summary

Active Care Group in Hinckley is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Kingly Croft, a six-bed residential service. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centered care and helping residents achieve independence at their own pace.

The role involves 24 hours per week on a rota including every other weekend; salary is £32,017.89 (FTE) pro rata per year. Benefits include training, DBS checks, and career development opportunities within a large UK provider.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential as training may be provided.
• Enhanced DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate, legible records of care provided according to the care plan.
• Be actively involved in meeting own and team objectives.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with residents, families and professionals.
• Provide personal care to residents.
• Running the shift and ensuring smooth handovers.

At Kingly Croft, we work with individuals around rehabilitation and enablement, supporting everyone to develop skills and gain independence in a way that suits them. Kingly Croft is a six-bed residential house in Hinckley where adults with an acquired brain injury or neurological condition are supported. Our highly trained team works around rehabilitation and enablement, helping residents to develop skills, gain independence, and achieve personal goals at their own pace and in ways that suit them.

What you'll be working:

Your hours are based on a rota working every other weekend. Full time hours 24 hours per week £32,017.89 (FTE) per annum pro rata.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide direct care and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient in achievement of their planned outcomes
• Maintain accurate, legible records of care provided, based upon the care plan
• Be actively involved in meeting own and team objectives through encouraging and supporting others
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with residents, their families, colleagues and any relevant professionals
• Provide Personal care
• Running the shift

What you'll have:

• A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
• A NVQ in Health and Social care from Level 3 onwards is desirable but not essential as we can provide support with completing this qualification.
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
