Job summary

Hillarys is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to lead material resource planning across our UK operations. You will oversee demand versus supply, maintain inventory targets, and collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Finance to optimise the end-to-end supply chain.

The role requires strong analytical ability, stakeholder management, and a track record of improving MRP processes within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in MRP, supply planning or similar role.
• Experience in a UK supply chain/manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Formal degree in business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage material resource and supply planning across UK sites, balancing demand, availability and inventory levels.
• Ensure finished goods and raw materials availability to meet customer orders and production requirements.
• Forecast future demand including new products and promotions, balancing service levels with stock turns and budgets.
• Manage stock replenishment and proactively identify and resolve potential shortages.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across functions.
• Design, implement and continuously improve MRP processes, routines and controls.
• Optimize SAP MRP parameters and master data for accurate stock visibility.
• Provide supply planning insights into the S&OP process with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, stock availability and lead times; drive improvements.
• Support new product introductions and end-of-life projects within portfolio.
• Coach and mentor MRP Controllers; share best practices.
