Job summary

AWE is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Development Manager in Reading. The role supports a new supply chain function during procurement and tender activity for the replacement warhead programme, embedding supply chain capability across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in supply chain development.
• Experience developing strategy with supply chain focus and SRM.
• Experience in SME strategies aligned with broader supply development.
• Experience collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience designing governance frameworks and operating models.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a robust SRM framework to support objectives.
• Ensure consistent supplier segmentation and performance approaches.
• Create and maintain supply chain policies, procedures and tools.
• Drive improvements in supplier relationship maturity and best practices.
