What you'll do

• You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests.
• You will be responsible for supervising general installations and repairs for all kitchen equipment at The Dorchester. This includes reviewing maintenance logs, prioritizing tasks, ensuring all work requests are entered into the engineering task management database, and producing weekly outstanding work request reports for engineering and operations managers.
• You will assist the Director of Engineering in coordinating the engineering team with any kitchen-related requests throughout the day, as well as overseeing hotel technicians and contractors to ensure work quality and quantity meet standards, providing guests with the best experience.
• You’ll show flexibility and creativity in dealing with guests’ special requests and challenges that may arise during the day.
• The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of an Engineering Supervisor, but we’ll provide specifics on how we care for our hotel.
