Job Description: Senior Supervisor – London, United Kingdom

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks that help maintain the nation's essential infrastructure connectivity and protection 24/7.

Reporting to the Operations Delivery Manager, you will supervise and lead a team of skilled PPM Engineers, focusing on the maintenance of the 1FM Fire contract. This role supports Telent UK and the Asset Management department, bridging field services and management teams to ensure a cohesive workflow. The position is permanent night shift, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm-6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot, E16 4TL.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of 8 PPM engineers involved in maintenance activities for the Fire maintenance contract.
  • Manage resource availability to execute planned maintenance efficiently.
  • Ensure high standards and adherence to operational plans in all work completed by engineers.
  • Schedule and monitor work to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for reporting progress on tasks daily, weekly, and periodically.
  • Engage in stakeholder management daily to keep teams updated on issues and progress.
  • Conduct at least one site visit per week, despite being primarily office-based.
Candidate Profile:

Seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor with knowledge of planned or preventative fire maintenance, preferably with London Underground or Network Rail experience. The ideal candidate can manage, schedule, and monitor maintenance in a busy, reactive environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Availability to work permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm-6am.
  • Experience leading teams in multi-site maintenance environments.
  • Experience in Fire Maintenance or within London Underground/Network Rail sectors.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Drug & Alcohol testing compliance required.
