Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Power & Energy Solutions team. Based in Glasgow with flexible/hybrid working, you will lead FEED and Detailed Design for transmission projects, interfacing with clients and delivering high-quality HV plant solutions.

You will develop technical leadership, review HV plant design packages, coordinate with subcontractors, and support tender packages.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Engineering focused on Primary Plant design.
• BEng in Electrical Engineering with minimum 2:2.
• Willing to spend a minimum of three days per week in office/on client site.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on FEED and Detailed Design for National Grid/SSEN etc.
• Review HV plant layouts, earthing designs and HV equipment specs.
• Coordinate with back-office engineers, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Attend Design Review and Hazard Review meetings and site visits.
