Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead HV design activities across transmission and distribution projects in the UK. The role involves FEED and Detailed Design workstreams for major clients, delivering multi-disciplinary design packages and ensuring QA at every stage.

You will collaborate with back-office engineers, sub-contractors and clients, travel to client sites, and mentor junior team members while pursuing professional accreditation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Primary Plant design.
• Minimum 2.2 BEng in an Electrical Engineering discipline, Energy Systems or Renewable Energy.
• Willingness to work across locations in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Senior position within an Electrical Engineering team based in Epsom, Birmingham, Leeds or Glasgow.
• Provide Technical Leadership on FEED and Detail Design for National Grid, SSEN-Transmission or other clients.
• Ensure quality assurance and delivery of FEED, Detailed Design and bids.
