Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to join our Power & Energy Solutions team. You’ll lead electrical design for substation projects, with a focus on transmission and distribution networks and flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Collaborate with clients to understand needs, mentor junior engineers, and drive projects from FEED to Detailed Design while pursuing professional accreditation. HV systems and energy markets experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Primary Plant design.
• Minimum 2.2 BEng in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems or Renewable Energy.
• Experience with HV plant design and high voltage systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Leadership on FEED and Detail Design for major clients.
• Ensure quality assurance and delivery of FEED, Detailed Design and bids.
• Coordinate with back-office engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend Design Review and Hazard Review meetings and site visits.
