Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead P&C design on FEED and Detailed Design for National Grid, SSEN‑Transmission, and other clients. The role is based in Epsom with flexible hybrid working across the UK, promoting strong client relationships and multi‑disciplinary collaboration on substation projects.

You will drive quality assurance, governance, and timely deliverables, while supporting chartership and career development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on P&C design.
• Proven capability in FEED and Detailed Design workstreams.
• Willingness to work in a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Leadership on FEED and Detailed Design for national grid clients.
• Ensure QA and governance of deliverables including protection schemes and I/O lists.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and attend site visits.
• Support tender packages and respond to technical queries.
• Attend and chair Design Review and Hazard Review meetings.
