Senior Structural Engineer - Nottingham
Bennett & Game are pleased to be representing a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Civil & Structural team in Nottingham. Role Overview
- Deliver and oversee structural engineering design from concept through to completion
- Lead on multidisciplinary coordination and technical quality across varied building projects
- Develop and review design briefs, specifications and reports to meet client expectations
- Support the delivery of secure infrastructure, defence and aviation projects
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, budgetary and programme requirements
- Attend site meetings and contribute to pre-start and project coordination sessions
- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers
- Support business development and assist with fee proposals when required
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng)
- Working towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE) or chartered
- Demonstrable experience delivering structural projects up to 10m in value
- Proficient in design coordination and project delivery within a consultancy setting
- Strong understanding of building construction, Building Regulations and allied legislation
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eligible for or able to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) due to project nature
