Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to lead the structural engineering services for Civil infrastructure projects. You will guide project teams, manage client relationships, and drive technical excellence and innovation.

The role requires Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with extensive post‑qualification experience. You will apply Eurocodes, mentor engineers, support business development, and uphold health, safety and environmental standards while delivering high‑quality

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with extensive post‑professional experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex bridge and civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑facing skills.
• Experience with Eurocodes and bridge design, maintenance, and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bridge/civil engineering function across projects, delivering high quality and safety.
• Advise clients with strategic guidance and technical expertise on complex challenges.
• Drive innovation in structural design, digital engineering, and sustainability.
• Mentor engineers and teams, fostering excellence and collaboration.
• Support business development through proposals, bids, and client presentations.
