Job summary

The Celtic Collection in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to lead the Banqueting Kitchen for large-scale conferences, weddings and events. You will support the Executive Head Chef in daily operations, plan and execute high-volume menus, and supervise a busy brigade to deliver outstanding culinary experiences.

You will thrive under pressure, manage stock and food safety, and work closely with Events, Operations and Stewarding teams to ensure seamless event delivery and guest

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior kitchen role within high-volume events or banqueting.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to lead a large brigade.
• Commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a large kitchen brigade in high-volume events.
• Plan and execute high-volume food production for conferences, weddings, and banquets.
• Ensure food safety compliance and HACCP procedures.
• Coordinate service across multiple events and work with Events and Operations teams.
