Job summary

Caravan Restaurants and Coffee Roasters in London is seeking a brilliant Senior Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen team at our Southbank opening. You’ll lead from the front, coach and develop the team, uphold health & safety standards and drive exceptional guest hospitality from day one.

Join us as we open our tenth Caravan, with two floors, multiple bars and a strong focus on developing our people. A generous benefits package accompanies salary £46,000–£50,000 per year with bonus.

Responsibilities

• Setting the standards for health & safety and delivering excellence across the kitchen
• Ensuring every dish is made consistently, confidently and to spec
• Leading by example and helping create hospitality people want to return for
• Coaching, training and developing the kitchen team, sharing knowledge as you go
• Giving new team members a great start through onboarding and training
• Keeping on top of stock, costs, cleanliness, health & safety and basics that make a great kitchen
• Working closely with the wider restaurant team to give every guest the best experience
