Job summary

Caravan Restaurants in London is hiring a brilliant Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team for the new Southbank opening. You’ll work with the Head Chef to uphold the highest standards of health and safety, hospitality and consistency, inspiring and developing the kitchen crew from day one.

You’ll oversee training, onboarding and stock management, ensuring every dish is prepared to spec, while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering consistent dishes.
• Ability to coach and train kitchen staff.
• Strong focus on health & safety standards.
• Passion for fresh ingredients and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to set health & safety and hospitality standards.
• Ensure every dish is prepared to spec and consistently high quality.
• Coach, develop and onboard the kitchen team.
• Monitor stock, costs, and kitchen cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to deliver the best guest experience.
