Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in London (or surrounding areas) to independently lead technical engagements, owning discovery, solution design, and platform demonstrations. You will build proofs‑of‑concept, run live demos, and nurture frontline customer relationships while collaborating with the Account Executive to grow platform adoption.

Strong coding and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture or pre-sales.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production quality code.
• Experience designing data solutions on at least one public cloud.
• Familiar with Spark/Delta Lake and related tech.
• Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads.
• Develop and deliver proofs-of-concept and live demos.
• Own frontline customer relationships and guide technical strategy.
• Partner with account executives to expand platform usage.
