Job summary

Databricks in London seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to independently lead technical engagements, owning discovery, solution design and platform demos. You will build relationships with customer engineers and work with the Account Executive to grow platform usage.

You will craft proofs-of-concept, live demos, and reference architectures across data engineering, analytics, and ML, shaping account strategies and differentiating Databricks through hands-on demonstrations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or hands-on consulting.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production-quality code and debugging ability.
• Experience designing data solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong background leading technical conversations with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads across data engineering, analytics, and ML.
• Build and deliver proofs-of-concept and live demos on the Databricks Platform to win technical decisions.
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers, data teams, and technical leads.
• Develop account-level technical strategies in partnership with the Account Executive to grow platform usage.
• Articulate differentiation through hands-on demonstrations and reference architectures.
• Contribute reusable technical assets to the broader SA community.
