Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the most complex customer engagements, shaping consumption strategy and platform adoption across enterprise accounts.

You will manage executive relationships, drive real-time data and AI initiatives, and mentor junior SAs while collaborating with DSAs, SSAs, partners, and product teams to deliver scalable Databricks-based solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, technical pre-sales leadership, or a senior customer-facing technical role.
• Expert-level coding proficiency — Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture: distributed systems at scale, streaming/real-time, lakehouse design patterns, data governance frameworks, and cloud-native platforms.
• Expert-level Databricks Platform knowledge (or equivalent depth in competing platforms).

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation's most complex customer engagements and drive consumption strategy.
• Own senior-level technical relationships with executive stakeholders on data and AI strategy.
• Lead multi-workload architectures and enterprise migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale.
• Mentor junior SAs (L3–L5) and contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership.
• Develop competitive strategies and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
